100% Pima cotton
We work with exclusive partners in Peru to make sure that our Pima cotton is the softest, most durable cotton on the market. Take proper care of it and you’ll enjoy pieces made from Pima cotton for years.
A little flip.
Whether it’s a tee or a polo, take a second to flip it inside out before you wash it. Not only will this wash the garment better, it helps avoid tugging on any loose threads and will keep detailing looking extra crisp.
Keep it cool.
There’s no need for time-consuming hand washing—our Pima cotton can be machine washed in cold water.
Don't be too intense.
Keep Pima cotton out of the dryer. Exposure to the intense heat will lead to considerable shrinkage, while also dulling colors and weakening the fabric.
Instead, for any Pima cotton polos, button-up shirts or tees, try to lay them flat to dry, when possible. If you hang them, use a sturdy hanger, sized for your shoulders.
The perfect store.
Pima cotton is easy to store: polos, tees and button-up shirts can be neatly folded or hung on a sturdy hanger. We’d recommend folding tees and polos, and hanging shirts.

100% cotton
Cotton is incredibly versatile. It keeps you warm but won’t cause you to overheat. It’s soft to the touch, but very durable. And, perhaps most importantly, it’s pretty easy to take care of.
A little flip.
Cotton should be flipped inside out before washing, to protect any loose threads.
Keep it cool.
100% cotton can be machine washed in cold water, with similar colors.
Don't be too intense.
Lay flat or hang to dry. The intense heat of a dryer will cause cotton to shrink, dull the colors, weaken the fabric and, over time, cause printed or embroidered detailing to crack or warp.
A little tip.
If you feel like your cotton fleece is stiff after drying, you can toss it in the dryer for five minutes on low heat. It’s enough to soften the fabric without doing any damage to the fibers.

100% polyester
Polyester might be the easiest fabric to care for because it’s quite resistant to shrinkage at low heat relative to cotton
A little flip.
All you have to do is flip it inside out and drop it in the wash with similar colors—warm water or cold. Flipping it inside out prevents any loose threads from being tugged on. Any buttons should be fastened before washing
A safe dryer.
You can also use a low tumble dry without needing to worry, as polyester won’t shrink, warp or even wrinkle. High or medium heat tumble drying is to be avoided as this can dull the colors or, worse, cause the fibers to break down.
Keep an eye on color.
One thing to consider is that polyester doesn’t keep its color as well as cotton. That’s why it’s important to wash and dry polyester with similar colors. If you over-dry a polyester garment—say putting one lonely polo in the dryer for an hour—it’ll lose color.

cotton/polyester/
spandex blends
The benefit of using cotton-polyester blends is that, on top of being lightweight and breathable, they offer the best of both worlds: cotton keeps color and sharpness longer, while polyester stands up better to heat. But we mostly use cotton-polyester blend fabrics for our Sport line and, more often than not, there’s a little spandex added for increased flexibility and stretch. Unlike polyester, spandex does not stand up to heat. That means you can’t treat these blends the same way you’d treat 100% polyester.
A little flip.
Wash in cold water. This will help the garment keep its color, while also preventing the spandex from being weakened like it would be in hot water.
Keep it cool.
If it’s a standard cotton-polyester-spandex blend, then the garment should be laid flat to dry. Any buttons should be fastened. Polos and shirts can be hung to dry on sturdy hangers, sized for your shoulders.
If the garment doesn’t have any spandex, you can tumble dry in a pinch, but we recommend using low heat.
Lay things out.
Lay flat or hang to dry. The intense heat of a dryer will cause cotton to shrink, dull the colors, weaken the fabric and, over time, cause printed or embroidered detailing to crack or warp.
The perfect store.
Synthetics—polyester and spandex—are much more resistant to wrinkles and warping, so whether you choose to fold or hang, your favorite pieces will continue to look good.
